Sometime during 2002 we decided that we need a break from our busy lives in sunny California and embarked on an 18 week cross country road trip. We were young(er), equipped with a happy baby (Mika) and a grumpy dog (Josh) and just decided to go. Back in those ancient days, we wanted to keep in touch with our family and friends so we wrote a weekly blog about the trip and emailed it, weekly, to them.
